The RAC, the UK’s No.1 automotive roadside assistance provider, were approached by 2nd Byte to pioneer an innovative new style of website. We consulted with them on the ‘My Car’ project, designed to help owners keep up to date with information about their car, including MOT, service and road tax reminders.

The developed system allowed the RAC to market directly to the owners area on the website, enabling a wide range of vehicle related items from the RAC to be offered, such as Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Checks, Insurance, Servicing and General RAC ‘know how’.

Customer relationship contact was increased from the RAC, and it enabled the capture of additional marketing information to assist the RAC in the accurate ongoing promotion of their services to potential customers.
